Little Kickers is an international children’s sports education company. Little Kickers Quebec is operated under licence by Little Kickers Franchising Ltd., which is responsible for the collection and processing of personal information under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). For Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Little Kickers Quebec acts as the data controller for the personal information you provide through our website and services. The person in charge of the protection of personal information for Little Kickers Quebec is Rhonan Bland.

What Personal Data or Information We Collect

    Storage: Limited storage abroad if required under Law 25 safeguards
  2. Customers (Parents and Children)
    Data held: Parent contact information, child’s name and date of birth, billing information
    Retention: Duration of services plus 4 years; financial records retained for 6 years as required by Canadian law
    Storage: payment records stored with providers such as PayPal, Shopify, and WorldPay under Law 25-compliant contracts
  3. Job Applicants
    Data held: Contact information, CV, application form, interview notes
    Retention: Duration of recruitment campaign plus 1 year
    Storage: Secure servers
  4. Current and Former Employees
    Data held: Name, date of birth, contact information, national identification numbers, qualifications, performance reviews
    Retention: Duration of employment plus 3 years, in line with employment law
    Storage: Secure servers
  5. Prospective Franchisees and Franchisees
    Data held: Contact details, date of birth, gender, spousal information, financial details, personality assessments
    Retention: Duration of the franchise agreement plus 4 years; unsuccessful applications retained up to 12 months

Who Has Access to Your Information

We do not sell or rent your information. We may share it only with:

  • Third-party providers such as IT services, payment processors, training platforms, ormarketing tools, who are contractually bound to use the data only for business purposes and to protect it under Law 25
  • Legal or regulatory authorities if required to comply with Quebec or Canadian law
    Examples of service providers include NBCMotion, Salesforce, Shopify, PayPal, WorldPay, CyberSource, SkyPrep, Spark Growth, NetGuides, Algoworks, Groe Global, and Synergy. Each must comply with contractual and legal safeguards, including Law 25 requirements for cross-border transfers.

Analytics and Tracking Tools

We may use analytics tools such as Cookiees and Clarity to understand how users interact with our Quebec website and improve user experience. These providers may collect information such as device type, browser, session behavior, and geographic location (country-level only). This information is pseudonymized, and providers are contractually forbidden to sell or use this data for other purposes.

Transfers Outside Quebec or Canada

In the event of a breach presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information promptly, as required by Law 25.

Emailing Us

We use TLS to encrypt and protect email traffic. If your email provider does not support TLS, emails may not be protected in transit. Emails sent to us, including attachments, are monitored for viruses or malicious content.
