Little Kicks is where soccer fun begins. We teach toddlers the basics like kicking, dribbling, and goal scoring through games that spark imagination and movement. It’s structured, but never strict. Kids learn at their own pace while playing alongside others. And parents and caregivers are part of the action, too.

Little Kicks Focus

In Little Kicks soccer classes, we focus on something we call “learning to learn.” That means giving little ones the tools to listen, try new things, and feel proud of their progress. We build those skills through fun games, clear routines, and lots of encouragement.

Frequently Asked Questions About Little Kicks

What age is Little Kicks for?

Little Kicks is designed for children aged 18 months to 2 years and 6 months. It’s the perfect introduction to soccer and group play, with age-appropriate games that support early development.

Can my child join Little Kicks if they’ve never played soccer before?

Absolutely! Most toddlers in our soccer classes are brand-new to the sport. Little Kicks is designed for 1- and 2-year-olds, with playful games that gently introduce soccer basics in a fun, supportive environment. These early soccer sessions focus on building confidence, coordination, and comfort on the pitch. No experience is needed, just a willingness to join in and have fun.

What skills will my child learn in Little Kicks?

Each session helps toddlers build confidence while learning through movement and games. Kids develop early soccer skills and important life skills like:

  • Kicking and running with the ball
  • Balance and coordination
  • Listening and following instructions
  • Interacting with others

They’ll also work toward earning badges that celebrate growth in physical, cognitive, and soccer skills.

What if my child is shy, or doesn’t want to participate?

That’s completely normal, especially at this age! Some children need a few sessions to warm up, and that’s okay. Our soccer coaches are experienced in helping little ones feel comfortable at their own pace. There’s no pressure to jump in before they’re ready.

What is expected of parents and caretakers at Little Kicks?

In Little Kicks, you’re part of the team! Our soccer sessions are designed for parent participation. You’ll join your child on the pitch to guide them through activities, offer encouragement, and celebrate their wins together.

How does the badge system work?

In our soccer classes, children work toward a new badge every three months. Each badge highlights progress in three key areas: how they think (cognitive skills), how they move (physical skills), and how they play the game (soccer skills). It’s a fun way to track development, and a proud moment when they show off their achievement on their kit.
